My name is M and my husband is C. We have a beautiful little girl, who was born in November of 2020 as well as two Cane Corsos, Gabriel and Mea. C and I have one remaining embryo in Atlanta and we are praying, with your help, that we will be able to meet him and give our daughter a little brother.
My husband and I met in Savannah, Georgia after he had just returned from a deployment. There was an instant connection, and the following year we were married on Tybee Island. I went back to school to pursue my nursing degree while we moved multiple times around the Southeast. He is active duty Army, so we tend to move every two to three years. I am a telephone triage nurse for a cancer center out of our home.
We have always wanted children. We were hoping for two little ones as we discussed our future even on our first date! When it came time to start trying to add to the family, we never stopped to think what we would do if infertility was an issue. Honestly, we thought that the training and deployment schedules would be our biggest hurdles to overcome. Lo and behold, “unexplained infertility” has become my diagnosis. We have endured a total of seven failed transfers, with every medical protocol imaginable. We were finally told that surrogacy was going to be the only option for our last two remaining embryos at the time. In fall of 2019, we matched with an incredible surrogate. She safely carried our daughter and delivered her the following year in November 2020.
We have our last, perfect embryo in Atlanta, awaiting an angel to carry him for us. He is the final piece to our little family. We cannot describe the gratitude we have for you and your family as you consider caring for our little one for us. As surrogacy is our only opportunity to grow our family, we appreciate the sacrifices and compassion it takes to do this for someone. We cannot imagine our world without our daughter, and we hope to bring her unborn brother home to our family soon.
